NEWS: Recrubo secures €600k in funding: ‘We aim to reach 5 million users within 5 years’

“Recrubo has closed a seed round of €600.000 to further develop its product and scale commercially. The company utilizes AI technology to optimize the recruitment process for blue-collar and service companies through chat. This allows candidates to apply easily, while providing companies with tools to efficiently follow up on candidates. For instance, a meal delivery company from Amsterdam managed to fill all open positions and cut the costs per new employee in half.

Recrubo enables (latent) job seekers to easily apply via WhatsApp. All touchpoints from initial exploration to scheduling an appointment are automated. Under the hood, artificial intelligence is used to tailor the candidate journey to the job vacancy and desired profile. The application process is automatically set up based on a job description. AI immediately understands the company’s requirements and initiates a chat process. By being trained on the job description and company information, AI can answer all applicant questions. The simple setup ensures scalability, even across different job vacancies.

Since the product’s launch a year and a half ago, Recrubo has experienced rapid growth. It now serves large and well-known employers such as Sodexo, FEBO, DHL, and ZEEMAN. Recrubo’s software already results in hundreds of new hires per month, and the ambition is significant: “five million new hires in five years.”

The funding round is supported by Glass Frog Ventures, Pop up Qapital, and the Brabant Development Agency (BOM).
